To declare your place of residence (or cancel the declaration data) in housing owned by the Vilnius city municipality, it is necessary to apply to the municipal enterprise “Vilniaus miesto būstas” (Vilnius City Housing) (Švitrigailos str. 7, Vilnius, Room 10), and provide the following documents:
- Application of the main tenant of social or municipal housing or his/her authorized representative regarding the declaration of the place of residence of family members, relatives or other persons in social or municipal housing; copy of the residential property lease agreement; copies of identity documents of persons residing or applying for residence at the said housing; certificates of declared place of residence and marital status; documents verifying a family relationship with the tenant of social or municipal housing; consent of the tenants of social or municipal housing, certified by a notary or another competent person, verifying that they do not object to the declaration of the place of residence of additional persons; certificate issued by the State Enterprise Centre of Registers regarding the real property of persons applying to declare their place of residence in a social or municipal housing owned by the Municipal Administration.
- Upon receipt of the written consent of a person (or all family members, in the case of a family) to process personal data submitted in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts, the company shall independently collect information on that person or family from the state registers and other state information systems regarding declared place of residence, marital status and real estate itself, which is used in the revision of the declaration data.
- The collected material shall be submitted to the company’s legal lease relations commission, which will then make its decision. The applicant shall be informed in writing of the decision made. If permission is granted to allow the declaration of the place of residence in social or municipal housing, relevant elderships shall be informed in writing and a protocol extract from the commission shall be sent for execution.
Documents shall be submitted to the company’s legal lease relations commission regarding deletion of the place of residence declaration data, verifying that the tenant of social or municipal housing does not live in the social or, respectively, municipal housing (housing inspection acts, certificates, court judgments, etc.). The tenant shall be informed in writing of the decision made. If a decision is made to delete the place of residence declaration data, relevant elderships shall be informed in writing and a protocol extract of the working group shall be sent.
